About Us

Camp of Hope Trust is a registered non- profit organization founded in 2020. It started as a passion project born out of a need to provide women (especially), men and adolescent children suffering from mental health problems ranging from anxiety to depression with a special haven that offers a safe and open space, in which one can feel momentarily liberated from their troubles and woes.

What do we offer?

We provide medical examinations to victims that have suffered physical and psychological traumas. This is done by the best-trained professional individuals like psychiatrists, nurses, and counselors. The victims have regular checkups and examinations.

Counselling Sessions

At Camp of Hope women, young girls and boys from all walks of life are offered psycho-social support services free of charge. The Trust was founded on the basic principles that if a fee is charged on them, the impact of the Trust will not be felt in communities.

The organization offers legal aid services to marginalized women, girls, and boys. We have realized that some survivors need legal advice or legal representation therefore it provides legal practitioners at the survivor’s disposal.

We're Here For You

Camp of Hope is comprised of another branch within the organization called Hope Skills which is basically in charge of empowerment projects that serve to economically empower victims and survivors, these include but are not limited to baking, sewing, detergent making, market gardening, hairdressing & nail technology. After graduating from the Hope Skills program, mentorship and career guidance is offered to assist the graduate in launching their small business.
Another branch of our camp is called HopeCares, and this is a subsidiary that’s in charge of providing a transit shelter for victims and survivors of gender based violence and abuse. A safe place where they can relieve mental tension after an incident or episode of abuse and recover in peace.

These initiatives aim to not only empower societies that lack knowledge and understanding of the various psycho-social issues that affect them but also provide ways of coping and recovering, hopefully, solutions in the long run.
